We are a not-for-profit organisation. Any fees we charge go to defray the cost of running the services for Young Leaders. Any surplus is gifted to the Scout Association.

Services for sailors

In our shabby-chic, hosted chartering service, we can host up to five adults. We will consider older children too on request.

You get a fully qualified skipper who will give you as much responsibility as you can handle. We can also provide a mate, so you can choose just to come along for the ride.

Your meals will be prepared and, while we are not likely to achieve a Michelin star for our cooking, we think you will be pleased with the wine on offer.

You will have the boat’s accommodation to yourselves each evening and over night.

Services for business

Yachting is an excellent team-building exercise in itself.

If you require additional high-level meeting facilitation, just ask. We’ve been doing it for leaders of professional services businesses for many years. We have a thorough understanding of business and financial issues.

We can host up to five adults depending on prior experience and accommodation requirements.

Services for Young Leaders

We believe that any teenager willing to give up their time to look after other people’s children deserves a reward.

For those on the Scout Association Young Leader scheme, we offer free sailing weekends. All we ask for is a contribution to the cost of food.

Depending on prior experience, we can accommodate up to four Young Leaders and one adult leader from any scout group or district. We can also provide a mate if needs be.

Both the skipper and the mate are DBS checked. The skipper is a Queen's Scout and has held a Wood Badge since 2013. The mate has EduCare Child Protection in Sport and Active Leisure level 2.
